Wishlists for your occasion
Christmas wishlists: organize gift ideas for your family
Christmas often means planning gifts for several people at once. Separate wishes by person, keep each list up to date and choose which relatives should receive which list.
01Keep a separate Christmas wishlist for each person
One list per person keeps different family members’ wishes from getting mixed up. You can manage several lists in your account, including a list for a child. Choose the Christmas theme and use clear list names.
- Give each person a separate list of wishes.
- Keep unfinished ideas private while you collect them.
- Use a shared Family & Friends list where invited members should contribute their own wishes.
02Turn ideas into specific wishes before sharing
Start with product links or manually entered ideas. Priorities and notes help your family choose suitable gifts. Imported prices are not a shop’s promise; check the product page before buying.
- Add variants, sizes and notes about possible alternatives.
- Remove unwanted or unavailable items.
- Include wishes at different price points to leave room for choice.
03Check access before Christmas and tidy up afterwards
Send each person only the relevant list, using a link or QR code, for example. You can add a password to restrict access further. A shared link can be forwarded, so avoid posting it in public groups.
- Agree outside the list on who will buy each gift.
- Check that any list expiry will not occur before the celebration.
- After Christmas, update remaining wishes and review which sharing arrangements you still need.
Your Christmas checklist before sharing
- Does each list have a clear recipient or purpose?
- Are variants, notes and priorities up to date?
- Do only the intended people have access?
- Have you tested the links and any password?
